The purpose of the Cranberry CUP is to conduct organized events whereas all facets of the community contribute to raising money for a worthy cause. The organization promotes volunteerism, community spirit, and goodwill toward a person or family in need.

Softball Tournament :

The first friendly neighborhood competition was held in August of 2000 and featured 8 neighborhoods. Currently, we are running at full field capacity and have 36 neighborhood teams and 10 business teams who participate in this wonderful weekend.

It is a time for neighbors to get together and play America’s favorite game, striving for the bragging rights to earn the coveted Cranberry CUP trophy for their neighborhood. (This is especially rewarding if you can manage to do it without pulling a hamstring or needing an ice pack in the process!) Armchair athletes arise and families come together to root for their “home team”--all while raising money for a wonderful hometown cause.

Games begin at 8AM Saturday August 2nd and culminate on Sunday August 3rd with the championship game at 6:00pm.
