For many this is the undisputed highlight of the CUP tournament weekend.  Past recipients have arrived at the park by helicopter or by fire truck, where they are welcomed by hundreds of softball players and their families, local dignitaries, and numerous volunteers.  This ceremony is always held at 10 AM on the first Saturday in August at Cranberry Park on Route 19 near the fire station.  You will be inspired by the courageous, dedicated neighbors that you will listen to this day.  The Opening Ceremony is typically attended by hundreds of players and spectators.  Arrive early for a good parking space!
